Outback Rides for Beginners
We have a few options for beginners.
Miniride - (30 minutes) suitable for young children. Birthday groups. Takes you through the farm, native bush and the stream. We take this at an easy steady walk. Small children are lead from horse back by our guides.
Adults $35, Kids (13 and under) $25.
Paradise Crossing - (approx 45 minutes) also suitable for young children. Birthday groups. Takes you through Paradise Crossing one of our most picturesque stream crossings and then on through farmland. We take this at an easy steady walk. Small children are lead from horse back by our guides. Adults $45, Kids (13 and under) $35.
1 Hour ride - takes you through native bush, farmland and the stream. Taken at a walking pace. Perfect for slightly older kids and family groups. Adults $60, Kids (13 and under) $45
1 1/2 Hour ride - Takes you through Native bush, farmland, and stream with fantastic views of the Eastern Bay of Plenty. This is for the more adventurous beginner rider, and will be taken at a faster pace than walk. Adults $75, Kids (13 and under) $55.
Weight limit for these treks is 120kg
Experienced Riders
For those that have had some or a lot of riding experience these Outback Rides are for you.They will all include trots and canters and we require you to be able to control your own horse.
2 Hour ride - takes you through Native bush, farmland and stream. It enables us to explore more of the 3,500 acres. This trek suits confident riders. Adults $95, Kids (13 and under) $65.
4 Hour ride - takes you through Native Bush, farmland, and stream. Here we get to explore the 3,500 acres, stopping half way to have delicious picnic lunch with a view. Adults $150, Kids (13 and under) $100.
Weight Limit for the experienced rides is 100Kg
Pony Rides
For the little ones 1 to 10 years of age this option is great. You lead your child on a course around our arenas.
